Great summary and pics. Well done!
I absolutely LOVE Maine! It is one of my favorite areas around the US. It is such a foodie destination, for lobster and seafood but for berries too! Also, your pictures are beautiful!
Bar Harbor has been on my destination wish list FOREVER! I loved reading more about the area in your post. And wow, your pictures were amazing!!!
Thank you April! I highly recommend you visit 🙂
Wow! So much more than lobsters. Sign me up to go!!
Beautiful pics! And an awesome reminder of what makes the East Coast so unique and delightful!
My mother in law lives in Belfast, so we go there often, but have never ventured up to Bar harbor – we really need to! I will say Belfast is cool too, lots of Blueberry stuff, although I have never seen a moose there.
Hi Sveva! Excellent post and super pictures! My family and I have been to Bar Harbor however didn’t spend much time in the town because we went straight to Acadia National Park and then headed out. We stayed in Bangor because prices were much higher in Bar Harbor. But the town looks amazing! I had no clue there was so many blueberry specialties there! We love blueberries! We’ll have to make a return trip!
Hi Jimmy, I’m glad you enjoyed reading my post! 🙂 There are some reasonable priced stays in Bar Harbor, you just need to know where to look. I definitely recommend you go back sometime and feel free to reach out should you any suggestions on accommodations! 🙂
Love this! I want to travel there so badly!
This is amazing! I am originally from PA and have never gotten the chance to visit Maine. I will definitely had this to my travel list. Thanks!
Great post and pictures. Looking forward to making it to Maine one day!

Great post and pics! I want to go now!
YUM wild blueberries! Your photos are so colourful! What a wonderful place to explore!
I’ve heard such good things about Maine. I will definitely be heading there with my daughter. 🙂
Love your article because it’s home. Just want to add that the park has become inaccessible. The government has made heavy restrictions and incorporated a reservation system. So if you think your coming to see the National Park think again because you won’t get in for a few years. Bar Harbor has also elected to add parking meters and parking restrictions all over town which has made things very difficult. Very sad!
