The Ultimate Seville Travel Guide

Sevilla’s charm comes from its Moorish influence. The narrow, winding streets endeavor to block the sun and hot African breezes from filling the maze-like cobblestone streets, the whitewashed houses and Baroque facades enchant travelers at every corner and the flamenco shows echo throughout the night–it is truly a city for the senses.

N2What to Do

Alcazar

Some might recognize its Moorish architecture from Season 5 and 6 of Game of Thrones–one of the most celebrated sights in Seville is the Alcazar Palace. Make your way through complex layers of various architectural styles that cover everything from Moorish, Gothic, Mudejar and Renaissance periods and indulge yourself in it’s majestic gardens. The Alcazar is not to be missed!

Plaza de España

The iconic pavilion located in Maria Luisa Park is composed of a mix of Renaissance and Neo-Mudejar architectures with over 48 fabulous alcoves adorned with azulejos representing the different provinces in Spain. The four bridges symbolize the old kingdoms: Castille, Aragon, Navarre and Leon. Enjoy a walk through Plaza de España and a small boat ride around the canal.

Seville Cathedral

Seville Cathedral is the largest gothic Cathedral in the world and a must-see monument. Witness its gothic eeriness both inside and out and its spectacular views from the bell tower La Giralda.
