Although the pictures may be different each time, I’m sure your summer and beach Instagram captions are starting to look the same. There’s only so many times you can use the phrases, “Life is better in a bikini” and “Good times and tan lines” etc. Since I’ve hit up my fair share of tropical destinations, I’ve racked up a number of summer and beach instagram captions that I’m sure your friends have never seen before. From my trips in St. Barth to afternoons boating out on Lake Winnipesaukee and Long Island, here are is a list of my top 19 funny summer and beach Instagram captions.
1. Escaped to a tropical destination for the holiday season?

2. When you’re in an infinity pool facing the sea.
It’s a clever play on words on both the word mer in French which means sea, and the mer in mermaid, because we all look like mermaids when at the sea. For more on my experience in St. Barth, see here.
3. You need an excuse for why you should live on a beach 24/7? I got one for you, no need to go back to the #realworld.

4. Lounging and passing out in that beach chair this summer.
You’ve hit that point on vacation where you could care less about what anyone else thinks—utter summer bliss. Sleep in that lounge chair, drink piña coladas, and pass the heck out. More on my experience at Le Manapany here.

The only thing that can keep me at bay while on vacation, aside from the sea itself, is my actual bae.

Saline Beach isn’t exactly a secret, but the cove next to it is, which is were we spent the majority of our time.
12. Laying out by a palm tree.
You’re living your best life in your paradise destination, it feels like you’ve got life in the palm of your hands.
13. Someone caught you snapping a pic this summer.
Whether you can’t let go of your camera or are snapping pics on your phone left and right, you feel like you + summer are a match made in heaven. You really seem to click with it.
14. When there’s 2 of you in the pic.
A little beach competition never hurt anybody?
15. Dreaming of walking onto that yacht like you own it.

Pat took me on a jet ski tour of St. Barth. Jet skiing in the ocean is MUCH different than jet skiing on a lake. It’s bumpy to say the least. For more on our experience, read here.

No need to visit your local pharmacy this summer, just head to the beach.
