Back in October, I worked backstage at the Matthew Christopher “Enduring Love” fashion show during Bridal Fashion Week in New York City. The collection was all about timelessness and classic romance. The show began recounting the story of a young boy who was inspired by his grandmother’s wedding dress to create his own gorgeous lineup of gowns. From the structured bodices, flattering seams and unique laces and embroideries, Matthew Christopher’s gown are timeless.

And of course..what’s a fashion show without an after party? I was lucky enough to share a couple of drinks with Leanne Taylor from Orange is the New Black at the after party. The OITNB crew (Orange is the New Black) attended the fashion show and after party to see the debut of actress Julie Lake’s wedding dress!

Walking Manhattan: From Orchid to Carroll Gardens

Walking Manhattan, NYC: 57th Street

The best time to walk around New York City in the Fall is 7PM–my walk back home from work. When the sun sets and reflects off of all the skyscrapers in midtown, the sky turns to a subdued hue of purple and pink and all of Midtown's stores light up the streets.
