When you’re S(e)oul searching for good Seoul Instagram captions for your travels, you can count on me.
My trip to Seoul last fall had me struggling for puns. It wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be to come up with clever Seoul Instagram captions. After spending an entire winter whimsically thinking through every option possible, I eventually came up with 11 recommendations for the best and most fun Seoul Instagram captions:
1. When you hanok believe your eyes
Bukchon Hanok Village is extremely well-maintained. When you see it in person and cannot or hanok (the name of Korean houses) believe your eyes, this is the caption for you. The maze-like village offers a ton of hidden gems from traditional tea houses to residential and architecturally marvelous streets and traditional Korean inspired clothing.
2. Getting dressed up in traditional garments
Your bound to find yourself wearing traditional hanbok garment at one point during your trip, whether that’s at a tea house, when walking around Bukchon Hanok Village, or at your hanok. Be sure to have the perfect Seoul caption ready to go.
3. Quick—act cool
It finally clicks, Seoul is a very cool place, no matter where you are.
4. Visiting Seoul during prime time foliage
The best time to visit Seoul is in the fall. The entire city is dipped in colors of red, orange, and yellow, it will leaf you feeling refreshed.
5. You think you Seoul everything? Think again
If you can’t stop taking pictures of cute alleys, food, cafes, hanoks, and hanboks like me. Here’s a filler caption.
6. It’s hard to leaf this place
If at the end of your trip you have a hard time leafing Seoul, make sure to post some pics to hang onto that South Korean travel bliss.
7. Leave (🍁) me alone and let me post millions of Seoul pictures
When you can’t get enough Seoul foliage during the Autumn time. Here’s another one for the books.
8. You found your new soulmate
Patrick is cute, but Seoul gave him some competition. When you’ve officially fallen in love and head over heels over this amazing city, let the world know.
9. Fill your feed with that Seoul FOOD
The food in Seoul is unbelievably cheap and AMAZING. From Bungeoppang street food to Korean BBQ and dumplings at Namdaemun Flea and Street Market, the oldest and largest traditional market in Korea, share your exotic eats with everyone.
10. Wing it when you can
You spend your last few waking hours in Seoul winging it and doing as much as you can and seeing as much as you can. Ihwa Mural Village is one of those few places where you can get lost for hours chasing the intricate murals in the hillside village.
11. You left and need a post-travel pick-me-up
You’re sad you left and need a picture to remind you of the good times. You definitely will have one of you in one of Seoul’s millions of coffee shops. They’re all about their coffee there. Some of my favorite spots include Anguk 153 and C. Through Cafe.
